Zorig Chusum or the 13 aspects of arts and crafts dictates every aspect of the art and architecture in Bhutan.

The 13 types under it are shingzo (woodwork), dozo (stonework), jinzo (clay crafts), lugzo (bronze casting), parzo (wood, slate and stone carving), lagzo (handicraft/painting), shagzo (wood turning), garzo (blacksmithing), troeko (silver and gold smithy), tsharzo (bamboo and cane crafts), dhezo (papermaking), thagzo (weaving) and tshemzo (tailoring).
